Chilli's

We've been to Chilli's for lunch for 3 days in a row. It's the only chain restaurant in this town. Yah...exactly. The guiltless grill pita was very good - tasty grilled chicken, lettuce, pico de gallo and served with black bean soup. Today, there were a few pieces of jalapeno and had some zest. Subway and KFC hit a spot for dinner last night. Tonight, it was spaghetti. Not bad but the cheesecake is a disgrace.

Flintstones gummies

Finally found a multivitamin daughter would take and ask for "more". It tastes pretty good, not as soft chewy like real gummies but pretty tasty. :-)

New shows

Fall season must be here...saw a few new shows that got be glued to the TV for hours last night. One was on the WB channel "Supernatural", caught the tail end on that one but thank goodness for TIVO and reruns. Then, saw on BET "Girlfriends" produced by Kelsey Grammar. Ok, this is not new since the production started in 2000. Then, saw the new season of 7th Heaven. There was another show on BET that I can't figure out the name. Pretty interesting...

Emotional basket

I love my family but when I travel, I am consumed with work and try very not to miss them. Despite all my efforts, this trip is harder than anything. I had a great 3 month downtime of no travels and lots of family time. As I type, my eyes are teary just thinking about them. I miss my daughter terribly. She's not calling me "Daddy" anymore and hearing her call me "Mommy" melts my heart. She has these cheeks you just want to pluck a kiss on. And when she smiles, they are even more adorable. We love making her laugh. I can't believe today is only Monday...only 4 more days to go.

Inuyasha

I've been really hooked on this Japanese anime lately on TOON network. He's a half demon with rabbit ears. There are a lot of characters surrounding him and each have a story behind it. He also has a brother who is out to kill him. Pretty interesting if you like anime...

Mommie's coming..

Daughter was outside playing at the daycare playground and saw me driving in. She looked at me and waved...what a great feeling that is.

Hi n low

Yesterday was my sis-in-law's wedding. For me, it's a mixed of hi and lows with my daughter. We started with 30 min screaming of how I am ending her life by making her wear a dress. I don't know what I was thinking. I know my daughter and yet am extremely hopeful that there may be a slight chance she would give in. She fell asleep in the car - aahhh....my peace. Then, during the ceremony, she woke up and wanted to sit in her stroller, then out, then in....At the golf course, while everyone was eating, she came up to us and said "let's go golfing".....that made up for the whole day.

Tussinex

Paid a docs' visit last week to get rid of a nasty cough that just would not go away. This is by far the yummiest cough syrup (well, at least for a few days). What's more remarkable is this stuff puts you to sleep really gooooooodddd. Finally caught up on all the past few weeks of restless sleep.

Sorry - you need a prescription for this.

Wide awake

I knew I should not have taken the yummy I.C Caramel frap....

45

Ok - not a good night at golf, not bad either considering the difficult pin placements. I think there was a high school team tryout at the course. Putting was not working tonight. The sweetest hole was the Par 5. 160+ out, ball below my feet, nailed the 5-wood, hit the top slope and ball just eased its way to the hole. Had a tap in for a bird. :-)
