Going home!

We're going home to Malaysia! :-) It's been 4 yrs since we went home. I'm getting excited everyday BUT there's a lot of planning to be done yet at home and at work. That's the only negative about it. We got a decent deal and the trip is 25 hrs long. Should be interesting with DD with us. I remember some of our past trips were 30+ hrs. Everyone at home is excited about it too. I just missed all the local food.

2006 Parade of homes #62

This is one of our favorites for this years' parade. Price tag $500K. http://www.kalamazoohomepage.com/parade/start_parade.asp?paradenum=62 It has a "cool" entertainment room in the basement. When the door is closed, the room covers up the entire room and you have a perfect cinema effect. The wine cellar room did not make sense as it's not temprature controlled. Otherwise, it's breathtaking!

New Ikea

We checked out the new IKEA in MI. Pretty cool. Journey is 1/2 the one we used to visit in IL. Bought some cool bedside tables at a very affordable prices. DD got a new easel which she's crazy about.
