Happy New Year

We had our first neighborhood new years' eve party last night. Only 3 kids were still up for the new years' toast. DD was one of them. As usual, lots of food and drinks, and lots of fun conversations. We also had a foot of snow greeting us at home. The next morning, I was determined to build (or learn to) our snowman. After a short few minutes, I realize I need the neighborhood kids help and the girls taught me how to build my own. DD was too cold to stay. The result, after 45 minutes of packing snow, we have a snow piggy. Yup, lollypops for ears and peanut M&Ms for a very eerie smile. Here's to a great start of the new year to learning new & different things!
