Family "tree pose"

Yah, as in yoga tree pose. Hubby is not very balanced in this pose and cooking up a sweat. DD laughs and joins in (not balanced herself). I have done it before, so no problem. A bit shaky but not funny as the yoga "newcomer".

Getting fit with WiiFit

By a stroke of luck, we are the proud owners of a WiiFit. I tried it out today and clocked in 1 hour worth of exercise - more than I have achieved in a year! It's quite a humilating and motivating at the same time when the a small little stepboard is telling you that you are as fit as a 54 yr-old (I am 35 BTW). My favorite is the step dance. It has pretty cool steps and peppy songs to it. After the advanced level, I unlocked the "free dance" which to my disappointment has no music accompaniment like the other 2 levels. I broke some sweat with this aerobic exercise but even more when I did yoga after. I'm thinking neighborhood WiiFit party with the ladies. Should be fun...

Ok...just got back from the movie and it was great. If you have not seen the HBO series, don't worry. There's enough background info to guide you along. If you are a fan, you'll love it. I did not expect to cry so much for this show but...it was a good cry. Kinda predictable ending (won't spoil it for those whom have not seen it yet) but it's always how they get to the end that keeps you in the theater.

TV rerun groupie

I am a TV rerun groupie (is that the correct spelling?). Watching JAG , NCIS and Charmed. Thanks to USA Network's NCIS memorial marathon, I was able to see most of the 2003 - 2004 season shows. I like to see the character progression, especially how they were introduced / removed from the show. JAG is running every morning....I am such a sucker for the uniforms and DJE. Found a website (can't think of the link now) and played quizzes about the show. I noticed that I am not so good with the names of the episodes but I do know the characters....scary when you have "some" free time.

Graduation #1 - Class of 2008

DD had her pre-school graduation yesterday. Dawned in blue cap and gown, 10 overly eager CDC graduates stood on the stage of KVCC commons area and gave a great 10-min performance. Songs include ABC phoenetics and the "bird song". I could not contain my joy / laughter because they were all so cute. This is an interesting experience since we don't have them in M'sia when I was growing up. If I have continued working, I would have been on a plane to Budapest and would have missed this! Glad I didn't.

Golf hall of shame

Had a pretty good night the other day. My drives were actually decent (has not been for the past 2 league nights). I have redeemed myself on the back 9 of Thornapple this week. However, I need to submit my 1st H.O.S - #15 Par 4. Had an incredible drive and 2nd shot and "spent" 5 more before holing it. Pitiful!
